Hello everyone! I just wanted to say a big thank you for making my holiday so amazing! It was fantastic. I went swimming in the fabulous pool, played French boules, and even had a makeover! I have to give credit to Chloe Houton and Amanda Parker. They attended to all my needs. Other guests thought we were a family, and they were shocked when I told them they were my carers. Thank you again for everything! I had a fantastic time and can't wait until my next holiday next year. Kind regards, Dawn

My wife and I cannot thank you enough for the care and support we have received. Not only have you kept me safe, but you have also expedited my recovery and gradual return to my previous level of independence. You are a credit to your nursing, care, and therapy professions. We are truly grateful to you all and remain firm advocates and supporters of all you do for the patients and families in your care every day.

Emma called the office to say that Judith is brilliant. She said that she is "in another league". She also complimented Jude, saying that nothing is too much trouble for her. She is always happy to help and is such a smiley person while she is working.

Dear Management, I have 25 years of experience working in palliative care at Bolton Hospice, providing me with vast knowledge in this area. Unfortunately, I felt let down by Wigan Hospice. However, your staff, particularly Cath, Daisy, and Jess, exceeded my expectations. They allowed me to assist with my husband's care, and he, who initially rejected assistance, grew comfortable with your staff and even looked forward to their visits. I would definitely recommend Cherish to anyone searching for excellent family care. I cannot thank you enough for the dignified care provided to my husband during his end-of-life period. I will be forever grateful. Sincerely, Lisa

"Every time I work with Cherish, it is an absolute pleasure -- from the office staff to the carers, they truly are a fabulous care agency. I would like to give a special mention to Sarah and Rob, who always go above and beyond to help us discharge our patients as quickly as possible."

Regarding a recent patient of mine who had passed away, even though he had passed, the carers still visited him and freshened him up, putting his teeth in. I was really touched by their actions. Having the ability to do something like that is truly amazing.

“Cherish UK has been growing steadily and we’re so excited to see the company expanding into new areas. We’re proud of how far Cherish UK has come and can’t wait to see how much more we’ll accomplish in the future!”
Peter and Wendy, Chairman and Founder
We want to make everyone’s life better by giving them great support and care. We believe it’s important to help our clients stay independent at home.
In today's world, we are witnessing a significant shift in age demographics, with more people living longer and the number of older individuals now exceeding that of young people. In light of this, it is crucial that we take a moment to reflect on how we can best support and care for our older population. This is where Cherish UK comes in - we are dedicated to enhancing the lives of our clients and ensuring that our home care is characterised by kindness, empathy, and thoughtfulness.
At the heart of our mission lies our belief that everyone, regardless of age, should be treated with the utmost respect and care. We are committed to providing the highest quality service to ensure that all of our clients lead happy and fulfilling lives.
To live safely and independently at home, people need good care. This is especially important for older people and those with disabilities. We provide quality care at home in several ways. We make a special care plan for each person, teach our care professionals how to help with any special needs, and make sure the home is safe and comfortable. We also check the person's health often and talk to their family. At Cherish UK, we keep an eye on how the person is feeling and tell the family if anything changes.
We treat the person we're helping with kindness and understanding. We try to be organised and do things efficiently, but we are also flexible and patient because caring for someone at home can be hard sometimes. However, helping people at home is also a very rewarding job.
Cherish was founded by Wendy Watson in 2005, who recognised a gap in the market for high-quality, person-centred care. Her dedication and passion for care are second to none, and her background and experience give her the unique insight and knowledge that has allowed Cherish to make a significant impact on the care industry today.
Since then, the company has grown from its humble roots as a home care provider in Blackpool and now has several offices across the North West of England. Experience and expertise allowed Wendy and her husband Peter to diversify the business and Cherish is now a group of companies, all of which have care at their heart.
Alongside Home Care, Cherish operate a successful Supported Living service, a Reablement service for people coming out of hospital, as well as therapy-led Childrens homes for looked after children.
Our team works hard every day and is fully committed to providing the best possible care for our clients. We believe that transparency is key in building trust with our clients, which is why we are more than happy to share our CQC reports with you. We also understand the importance of continuous improvement and are always open to feedback. If you have any suggestions or concerns, please do not hesitate to let us know so we can work together to make any necessary changes. Thank you for your trust in us and we look forward to continuing to provide exceptional care.
Our employees are the life blood of our organisation. Every person plays an integral role in our success. We strive to be the best employer that we can be. To us this means being fair, open, recognising excellence, providing training and opportunities, doing our best to keep our staff safe, and using innovative solutions to help our employees when they meet challenges both in the workplace and in their personal lives.
